    Ipconfig is a very useful utility in your Windows system, particularly during your troubleshooting activities in your network. In Windows XP, go to the Start menu, select Run, then type cmd in the box and click ok; at the ...> prompt, type ipconfig /all. Several parameters will be returned to you, such as your IP address, subnet mask and default gateway, your MAC (hardware) address, DNS and DHCP server addresses, IP lease information, etc. Write a report with a short interpretation, or explanation, of each of the parameters of your system.
