Non-responding 2950 switches

    We have about 20 Cisco 2950 switches, but we have just a few that the
    switch itself on the management IP will stop responding to pings after
    a few days of operation. A power cycle fixes it for a few days.

    I'm not sure where to start debugging this. Any ideas?

    If I were you, I would probably first check BugTrackingTool for bugs in
    images used on switches. If there's no match or workaround, I would open
    a TAC case.
