New Releases: Smallville, Stiller & Fanny and Alexander: Updated complete downloadable R1 DVD DB & i

    Warner Brothers will release Smallville: The Complete 3rd Season on November
    16th. The box set will retail for $59.95. The initial specifications
    indicate anamorphic widescreen with Dolby Surround audio.

    Universal has a special edition of Meet the Parents set for release on
    December 14th. It will have Dolby 5.1 Audio and be made available in
    separate Pan & Scan and anamorphic widescreen versions. The list price will
    be $29.98. Extras are slagted to include:
    Audio commentary
    Robert De Niro Sings "Love Is In The Air" (4 Minute Deleted Scene)
    New Featurette With the Cast of Meet The Parents and Meet The Fockers
    Anticipating Their First Meeting
    23 Minutes Of Outtakes
    Deleted Scenes With Commentary

    Also from Universal on December 14th, tying in with the Meet the Parents
    special edition is The Ben Stiller Collection. This box set includes:
    Meet The Parents (movie only)
    Along Came Polly
    Reality Bites
    Mystery Man
    The set will have a suggested price of $59.98

    Criterion extends their collection editions with Fanny and Alexander. There
    are several variations that will be released on November 16th:
    1982 Theatrical release in 1.66:1 video and Dolby mono audio, $29.95
    1982 Television release in 1.66:1 video and Dolby mono audio, $29.95 (312
    minute version)
    Making of Fanny and Alexander $29.95
    Fanny and Alexander Box Set including all of the above, list price $59.95

    Also on November 16th Criterion has Short Cuts: Special Edition Double Disc
    Set. This set contains the Robert Altman adaptations of the stories of
    renowned author Raymond Carver. The cast includes Tim Robbins, Julianne
    Moore, Robert Downey, Jr., Jack Lemmon, and Jennifer Jason Leigh. The list
    price will be $39.95.

    Home Vision has the 1954 version of Animal Farm set for release on November
    16th. The list will be $19.95.

    Buena Vista will have two separate releases of King Arthur. One will be the
    US theatrical release PG-13 version while the other will be the R-Rated
    version. Both will have Dolby 5.1 audio and anamorphic 2.35:1 video listing
    for $29.95 due to drop on December 21st.
