New Releases: More two packs, In-Laws : Updated complete downloadable R1 DVD DB & info lists

    Universal has a couple of two movie packs due out on October 28th. Jurassic
    Park/Jurassic Park III: Value Pack and Red Dragon/End Of Days: Value Pack
    are just repacked from the original releases, both with the same audio and
    video as before. Each pack has a suggested price of $29.99.

    Fox is also trying to increase profits and sales throughput with two packs.
    Theirs are set for release on November 4th and include at this point Antwone
    Fisher (P&S)/Behind Enemy Lines, Antwone Fisher (P&S)/Men Of Honor, Antwone
    Fisher (WS)/Behind Enemy Lines, Antwone Fisher (WS)/Men Of Honor and Banger
    Sisters/Where The Heart Is. The suggested cost is $29.98 each pack.

    Warner Brother is getting into a line of PBS documentaries. October 14th
    brings Churchill, Lawrence of Arabia: The Battle for the Arab World and
    National Geographic: Inside Mecca on October 21st and Tuskegee Airmen due
    out on November 25th. For younger viewers in that now all important 'tween'
    market they have Mary-Kate & Ashley: The Challenge set for release on
    November 25th.

    Warner Brothers have announced the Michael Douglas/Albert Brooks remake
    flick 'The In-Laws' set for release on October 7th. True to the well
    established trend there will be both a pan & scan as well as an anamorphic
    1.85:1 version of the release. Both have Dolby 5.1 audio with extras
    including a gag reel, extended and additional scenes a commentary and a
    reported Easter egg or two. The cost for this is $27.95. Of course, if you
    prefer the original version WB also has it already out for purchase.

    Already out but the releases where just announced by Idem Home Video is
    something for swing, blues and jazz fans. Included are John Coltrane: Four
    Tenors, Clarence "Gatemouth" Brown In New Orleans, Louis Armstrong And
    Friends 1962, Billie Holiday: The Life And Artistry Of Lady Day, 20th
    Century Jazz Masters: Count Basie Plus Earl Hines, Jimmy Rushing & Louis
    Armstrong, 20th Century Jazz Masters: Dave Brubeck, Thad Jones-Mel Lewis,
    M.J.Q., Cab Calloway: Swing Era, Count Basie: Swing Era, Duke Ellington /
    Lionel Hampton - Swing Era, Johnny Griffin Quartet / Mike Mainieri Quintet -
    Modern Jazz At The Village Vanguard, Louis Jordan: Swing Era, Peggy Lee:
    Swing Era and Stephane Grappelli: Live In San Francisco.

    From Vanguard on October 28th: Man Of Marble (5.1/16:9), Pachito Rex,
    Promised Land(5.1/16:9), Reversal and Video X. All except the last will go
    for $29.95. Video X has a price tag of $19.98.
    On September 23rd Rhino has some DVDs for fans of country music. Included in
    this release set are Dwight Yoakam: Just Lookin' For A Hit, Dwight Yoakam:
    Pieces Of Time, Randy Travis: Forever And Ever, Travis Tritt: A
    Celebration - A Musical Tribute To The Spirits Of The Disabled American
    Veteran and Travis Tritt: Greatest Hits From The Beginning each retailing
    for $12.98.

    A couple of postponements have been announced. Dick Van Dyke Show: Season 1
    from Image has been pushed from September 2nd to October 21st, now being
    released the same time as Dick Van Dyke Show: Season 2. Image has also
    pushed out General (1927/ Image) / Steamboat Bill Jr. (Double Feature) and
    Freddie King: Live In Europe from August 21st to October 21st.

    WGBH has postponed a number of their announced releases including Charters
    Of Freedom, Combat Hospital, Magnetic Flip, Mars: Dead Or Alive, Volcano
    Above The Clouds, Who Killed The Red Baron? and Wright Flier.

    Listed as cancelled are Cirque Du Soleil: Dralion / Cirque Du Soleil: Quidam
    (Columbia/TriStar), Comedy: 3-Pack: Hot Chick / Duece Bigalow / Waterboy
    (Buena Vista) and Italian Job (1969/ Special Edition) (Paramount). Some are
    set for different releases, please check the Rescheduled list for details.

    Universal has discontinued the animated discs X-Men: Reunion / Out Of The
    Past / No Mutant Is An Island and X-Men: Sanctuary / Proteus / Weapon X,
    Lies And Videotape. Warner Brothers has listed South Park 3-Pack #1 as
    discontinued. Again, check the rescheduled list fo any possible new
    versions.

    features31,009 titles with 136 additions or changes and 634 Pre-Release
    announcements. The All Titles list has 31,643 titles. Recent releases
