    If you want a simpler form of family entertainment Warner Brothers has a
    batch of flicks about a boy and his dog, Lassie. Set for release on August
    24th they have:

    If a boy and his dolphin is more your style Warner Brothers also has set for

    Buena Vista has announced that Kill Bill Volume 2 will be released on August
    10th. So far the only details in the studio announcement where Dolby 5.1
    audio and anamorphic video. The suggested retail price will be $29.99.

    On August 17th Warner Brothers has something for the die hard Martin
    Scorsese fan.

    Each title will list for $19.97 and each one contains a director's
    commentary and will be in anamorphic video and original audio. If you prefer
    you can get the box set for $59.95

    Universal has the flick featuring Nia Vardalos and Toni Collette, Connie &
    Carla on August 17th. They will have separate P&S and anamorphic versions.
    Each will have Dolby 5.1 audio and list for $29.95.

    Dazed And Confused: Flashback Edition will street care of Universal on
    September 14th. There will be both P&S and anamorphic variations released.
    Each will have multi angle features and deleted scenes. The list price is

    Also on September 14th Universal has Fast Times At Ridgemont High Special
    Edition. This will also be released as separate P&S and anamorphic, contain
    deleted scenes and multi angle feature and will list for $19.98.

    For the true fan of sex, drugs and rock & roll you can get Ultimate Party
    Collection containing both Fast Times and Dazed. Yet again, separate
    releases for P&S and widescreen. The list price will be $27.98.

    On August 31st Universal has Happy Gilmore / Billy Madison ready for
    release. This is another repackage deal identical to the previous individual
    releases. Keeping with Universal's trend separate P&S and widescreen version
    will street. The list price will be $27.98.

    Paramount has the latest Ashley Judd flick Twisted set for release on August
    31st. There are P&S and widescreen versions both with Dolby 5.1. The
    reported extras include:

    The short lived Al Franken television show LateLine will be released as the
    entire series box set on August 17th. Listing for $39.95 it will include
    several episodes not previous aired.
