I just purchased Toshiba netbook and Belkin wireless router. Windows XP on both. With help from Belkin tech support I am able to get on internet on the netbook but unable to share files, or print from netbook. Netbook cannot see the desktop. When I look on "view workgroup computers" in the desktop the laptop icon is visible but when I try to look at details of the connection I get a box telling me that "the network path was not found". Belkin tech did some diagnostics and the ping was successful from the netbook but not the desktop even after all of Kaspersky security and Microsoft firewall were turned off. I have tried reinstalling wireless network numerous times with no change in status. Belkin tech concluded that it must be some problem with the operating system. Any suggestions as to how I may resolve this would be most welcome.
