    Can anyone advise please.

After deciding that a netgear wireless network wasn't reliable enough i
uninstalled the software and removed all hardware.
Now i'm using cat 5e but i have one slight problem

On assigning a manual IP address for each computer i recieve
an error that the IP address 192.168.0.2 is already assigned to
the adaptor Netgear Wg311V2 (The wireless card i used)
This adaptor is hidden from the network connections folder
because it is not phisically installed. (yes i removed it)
if the same address is used a conflict will occur.

I've checked that the software has been removed properly and
cant see any other adaptors apart from the Rj45 Lan card

    Anyone know the crack here.

    Thanx

Why not assign a different IP to the RJ45 connection? Its not like you have
    a shortage of unused ones.

this could be why your wireless network wasn't working correctly...

    OS?
check your device manager for unknown devices installed and uninstall them.

You can reinstall the card, set it to a different IP (one not on your
network), and then uninstall it again.
