mp3 encoder

    does anyone know of a GOOD mp3 encoder...i've tried LAME
    BLADEnc and the frauhauffer thing but I'm still getting the
    budgie twitter effect ...

    Blade sucks, Fraunhofer is OK, LAME is the best. If all three give you
    the same results your problem isn't in the encoder. I have no idea what
    "the budgie twitter effect" is.
