I use VirtualDub to encode a movie, and obviously I want to encode the audio track with MP3. But the builtin codec won't go beyond 56kbps. I installed WMP10 because I know for a fact that it can rip music from CD to 192kbps MP3 without extra software (yes, I've seen it work) and many people commenting on this problem say you need WMP10, so I installed it. Furthermore, I applied the registry workaround: http://www.clickview.com.au/downloads/l3codecp.reg On my laptop (32-bits Windows) this works perfectly. But on my x64 box it doesn't do anything. Any suggestions? (and can someone maybe explain why the MP3 codec is limited to 56kbps??)
