Mouse wheel use freezes dvd player software

    I have tried both PowerDVD and WinDVD and the problem persists on both
    programs.
    I use the mouse wheel to select the play speed and the movie gets locked
    into fast forward
    or rewind and I need to endtask the player software.

    Any ideas what the problem could be?
