Motorola Cable Modems..

    It seems that I received from Vodafone that the Stand By features has
    been removed, why any one knows, no warning was given, I had to ask.


    Was a nice features when you wanted the net disconnected, not I have to
    fiddle around with my firewall that I don't trust 100%

    One extra button that was seldom used.
    Just pull out the ethernet patch cable from the back of the modem for an
    equivalent feature.
