Microsoft Network Utility "No devices found on local network"

Discussion in 'Wireless Networking' started by =?Utf-8?B?QmFybnlm?=, Aug 29, 2006.

  1. Both computers on my local network can access Internet....But...
They can't access each other. File Sharing is turned on in both and they are
    both on the same workgroup.
I can successfully ping to the laptop which is Wireless, but not from the
Wireless to the desktop, which is Ethernet.
The desktop successfully pings the Gateway (MN-700) device.

Here's output from ipconfig /all on desktop:

nForce has a built-in firewall. You need to configure it to permit file
    sharing.
