I have started on the MCSE track and installed the 70-210
test off the CD that came with the Core Requirements
pack, but when I run it I get script errors and then
blank pages where the questions whould be !!

Other prople have reported this but I haven't seen an
answer yet, wouldn't it be nice if there was a search
    facility in here?

I am running XP Pro with the latest updates applied.

Has anyone here or at Microsoft got any ideas why this is
happening and better still what the solution is?

    Cheers, PeterB

I started having this issue as well. My Readiness Review was working fine
until a couple of weeks ago when I installed some windows updates for xp pro,
and now I get script errors when I try to take a test. Hope this issue gets
    resolved.

On Windows 2000, hotfix KB840315 will cause the script
errors in the Readiness Review tests. For me, a PC with
KB840315 fails and another PC without KB840315 works
fine. Again, I am on Windows 2000. PS - This info came
from Microsoft and then I tested it.

I have found out what is causing these script errors, and
indeed, Shaun seems to be correct in that it is Windows
    Updates.

I have removed the following form my XP Pro PC and now
    the exams work OK

    Windows Hotfixes removed:
    (SP2) Q819696
    (SP2) Q811114
    KB842773
    KB841873
    KB840374
    KB840315

I have also e-mailed Microsoft asking for a replacement
CD with exams that work on the current XP release
including updates, so we shall see what their reply is.

My PC seems to be OK, and I have Norton Internet Security
2004 running as some sort of protection.

I would value other peoples views on this as well.

    Hope this helps.

I wonder if Microsoft has bundled the code from KB840315
into SP2? We may get revisited by the script errors if
    that is so, any ideas?

Microsoft Support have just mailed me the following link to a patch that
    they have developed.
I can conform that it works for both the readiness reviews I have that were
    not working post XP SP2.
