MCSD, MCAD, MCTS, MCPD, confused

    Hi everyone,

    I'm just getting started on this Microsoft Certification Business and
    I'm a little confused.

    I want to get certified in .NET 2.0/Visual Studio 2005 and I have a few
    questions

    Q1> I am right in saying there's no MCSD for Framework version 2.0?

    Q2> How many exams do I need to pass in order to become an
    MCTS(Technology Specialist)

    Q3> Do I need to take an exam for 70-536 (.NET Developer Foundation) or
    can I just go straight onto Core Data Access and Advanced data access
    (70-526 and 70-528)?

    Hi,

    A1> Yes, you're right.

    A2> Two exams.

    A3> 70-536 is required. Along with it, you can take any one out of
    70-526, 70-528 or 70-529. It depends on your target : Windows Apps, Web
    Apps or Distributed Apps.
