I have just noticed this morning that I now have the MCPS and MCNPS
qualifications associated to my account in addition to my MCAD and MCSD.

Does anybody know what the MCPS and MCNPS qualifications are? I have
searched on but it has returned no results.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    actually, it's
MCNPS 2.0 - AOS: Small Business Specialist

Not really true to it's acronym, but that's what it says when you expand the
MCNPS listing under the "Manage MCPs/MCTs" part of your partner profile.

MCPS 2.0 - AOS: Competency- Network Infrastructure

    OEM Competency AOS

MCNPS 2.0 - AOS: Small Business Specialist

You get "MCPS" just from passing an exam; it's what "MCP" (Microsoft Certified Professional) used to be. The MCNPS would be from passing something related to .NET. You could get these from passing the same, single exam if it was .NET technology related.

The MCNPS rating appears to be specific to Microsoft partners, however, and only appears under my Microsoft Partner Network individual profile. It is not on my official Microsoft transcript or individual MCP site as a cert.
