I'm planning to take my first Microsoft exam (70-528). If I take this
exam, do I get a MCP Welcome Kit and benefits? Or do I have to take the
2 exams for the MCTS to become a MCP (Microsoft Certified
    Professional)?

Some complain that they passed this exam and didn't get the MCP
    Welcome Kit.

It used to be in the past that if you passed 1 exam, example 70-315,
    you become a MCP.

Also, if you review the current MCP requirements list in their website,
it doesn't mention 70-528, nor 70-536, nor MCTS.

Last but not least, should I take 70-528 first or 70-536 for obtaining
    the MCTS?

    Sorry, but I'm confused.

AFAIK, you can become an MCP by giving any one exam. And yes, you do
get a welcome kit on achieving MCP status.
