Oh well, it was 1 of the handy shorter links sites as it had a preview.

    ===================================================
    IMPORTANT NOTICE
Make A Shorter Link is closed to new links

We're sorry, but we no longer have the resources to give MASL the
oversight it needs to avoid abuse by spammers. So, we're closing it to
    the creation of new links.

For now, old links will continue to work, but we advise you to use an
alternative service such as TinyURL and replace any references to
makeashorterlink.com or masl.to you might have in your web sites or
    email publications.

Just in case you didn't know the short link once made is also placed
in your clipboard so you can Ctrl+V to place it for speed :)

If you valued the indirect link, where you got to see where you were
    re-directed to, try qurl: http://qurl.net/

There are other re-directs that give a preview. Check out the services
listed here: "Web Sites That Shorten Long URLs" http://notlong.com/links/

Among others, tinylink gives a preview, and minilien does so too, but in
    French!

    So does TinyURL, now:

    http://tinyurl.com/preview.php

    Requires cookies though.
