M$ doesn't have to carry Sun Java in Windows

    However it can't carry its own.

    Judge Metz of a three judge panel of the U.S. Fourth Circuit Court of
    Appeals in Richmond, Virginia, acknowledged that there was a danger
    that M$ could use .NET to stifle Java but not enough of an immediate
    danger to force M$ to carry Java.

    Some computer manufacturers, however, including Dell and HP have
    agreed to carry Sun Java.

  2. What pisses me off are sites which have used the MS Java extensions (which
    don't work with Sun Java) and who have, so far, failed to re-code their
    pages without the Microsoft crap.

    http://www.trains.com for example. I can't view the Rochelle Webcam in
    Linux. Grrrrrrr.
