Linux or Windows For Web Site

    I'm thinking of getting my own Web site. I had one before and
    remember having to use the Linux server instead of their Windows
    server, despite using Windows myself. I don't remember why, except
    that there were things I wanted to do that I couldn't do on a Windows
    server.

    Anyone have idea what the difference is?

    Is there a news group for this type of thing?
