Can any of you knowledgeable folks out there point up the differences (if
    any) of these two cameras.

    Many thanks,

    Hi Dingo,
Features Unique to the Finecam M410R

    1. High-Speed Startup by Incorporating a High Magnification Zoom Lens
By extending the lens barrel and not retracting the lens when the
camera is not in use, the Finecam M410R has substantially reduced the
startup time while incorporating a high magnification 10x optical zoom

    2. Use of Commercially Available Filters and Accessories Using the
    Attached Adapter Ring
You can use a commercially available 52-mm filter or a conversion lens,
such as a wide/telephoto converter, by putting the attached adapter
ring at the front of the lens barrel. It allows you to shoot while
checking the effects of the filter or conversion lens directly through
the viewfinder or the liquid crystal monitor.
