I'm an MCP and passed the exam
70-316 ' Developing and Implementing Windows®-based Applications with
    Microsoft® Visual C#™ .NET and Microsoft® Visual Studio® .NET'

So the question is:' Can I benifit from this exam to continue to join
certification path of the new generation certifications like MCTS ????

or I have to earn MCAD then update to MCPD!!!

    Thanks..

That depends. You can finish the MCAD with 2 more exams and then take the
MCPD web and windows upgrade exams (2 more exams) to get the equivalent VS
2005 certification. If you drop the MCAD track now you will have to take the
full MCPD track and 70-316 won't count.
