Filled with propoganda...it shows a little pronise, but not enough to get
your hopes up. Moreover, i don't have any illusions that it will return to
    the late 90's level.

this is nothing more than bush cronies worrying about the "jobless recovery"
    it's electioneering pure and simple.
the jobs are gone, they aint coming back unless you want to work for a few
    rupees.

That's crazy talk. The market is going up. Companies have trimmed to the
bone, that means any extra revenue goes straight to their bottom line. Once
that happens, the companies that haven't been upgrading for the last 2 years
or so will suddenly have a little extra money to spend.

    Bloody pessimist...

So you think they are going to give the job of designing and building new
    infrastructure to Indians?

actually, tech jobs are starting to remain, but the salaries are being
driven down. with the exception of those of us with many years experience.

    they wont.
simple case of shipping them in for the duration of the project, probably
get round visa restrictions thus and ship them out. It's happening already.

    the rest is done remotely..
least geo and his cronies will get a good bonus

    Load of crap.

It's just the shrub explaining why he won't stop his cronies from continuing
the trend. God forbid that he should propose tarriffs and the like to
protect American jobs. Nearly every other country has the will and the means
to prevent the destruction of their home economies, but not the good ol'
USA. Even bloody Canada has a law that requires Canadian content in certain
prodects sold there. No sir! Free trade, by Gawd. Let the deficit mount into
the billions. Let American workers be kicked out of their jobs.
Hell, they are not well enough trained to do the job, anyway. Those
companies show well on the stock market. Investors are happy. Politicians
get re-elected. All is well. It's just a short term glitch in the economy.

Yeah, and all the manufacturing jobs that went away in the 70's & 80's will
    be coming back too.

And I beleive in the Easter Bunny.

it's not only the US this is happening in..
the politico's are screwing us.. big time.
the ceo's etc make big bomuses..
the economy looks good on a piece of paper..
the reality is a lot different.

that said the US has imposed tarriffs on steel etc.
rather than the EU and US fighting among themselves about trade there needs
to be a concerted effort to freeze out india and china.. but will it
    happen....
what were you saying about the easter bunny

Visa's are being reduced, not expanded on.
