IRQ Not equal BSOD

Discussion in 'Computer Support' started by Geoff Pearson, Dec 12, 2004.

  1. I've been getting the "IRQL not less or equal" BSOD in XP for the last
couple of weeks. Eventually it would boot properly. Yesterday, I
disconnected my second HD and now the problem seems to have gone. Any idea
whether this the Maxtor 40GB dying or some other clever problem? It used to
be the C: drive but is now a slave to a new 120GB Maxtor.
