irda/rc5...wtf?

    i'm looking to buy this item: //cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=298&item=5712646274&rd=1&ssPageName=WDVW, but it states that its compatible only with rc5 mouse/keyboards, as opposed to irda peripherals. i've looked at the spec of loads of wireless mice/keyboards, but i can find no mention of the rc5/irda standards.. can anyone help?
