Installing Win XP without creating additional user account

    Usually when I install Win XP a screen appears asking "who will use this
    computer?" & insists that at least one name be entered which will then
    appear on the welcome screen. On occasion however this screen never appears
    & when the system boots it goes directly to the desktop where it is logged
    on as the administrator. I am not aware of doing anything differently
    (although perhaps I am) & I wonder what causes these two different results?

    Just guessing here, probably tied to network detection.
