step 1: buy 3 older PCs, minimum requirements for 2003 (roughly 400MHz
cpus, 256MB mem, at least 1 dvd), 6' table from Sam's club or Home
Depot, a couple of power strips, w2k and w2k3 eval kits from MS, MS
books on w2k and w2k3, 100mb switch and cables or wireless, etc...

step 2: read the w2k books, install w2k server/advanced server on the
three pcs, make 2 DC, build a minimal AD (dns, dhcp, etc)... follow
the examples, stabilize it... move to native mode... etc... spend
about 2-3 months getting to know the administrative tools, GP, DNS,
    etc...

step 3: read the w2k3 books, upgrade one of the dc, fresh install on
the other two, follow the examples to learn the updated features...
follow the examples, stabilize it... move to native mode... etc...
spend about 2-3 months getting to know the administrative tools, GP,
    DNS, etc...

buy transcender for relevant exams... practice a little until you get
    100%... take the tests...

    Voila!!
