infected PDH.EXE

    i ran avg. and it said i had an infected...............
    what is that and what do i do about it?
    avg wont put it in the vault or fix it

    iam NEW at all this pc stuff and really need help

    I did a quick search for Downloader.Small.6.T and found this which
    was posted over at 'alt.comp.anti-virus' news group. You might want
    to search Google Groups archives,, to see if there is more
    about this 'downloader'. Maybe search for "Downloader.Small".

    Install, immediately update and run, at least, the first four.

    Ad-aware Aims at Adware/Spyware.

    SpybotS&D Aims for the dialers, trojans,
    hijackers and security/privacy issues.

    Spyware Blaster


    Install and run, then post the log to "HijackThis Logs"

    A-spy For trojans hiding in startup entries.
