As we - my wife and I - were watching tonight's intallment of "Call
the Midwife" on Masterpiece, I couldn't help but think how great those
scenes would be in black-and-white stills.

The show is set in London's East End in the late 1950s. Wouldn't it
be great to have access to the set they use for filming? Especially
with some of the period-dressed extras wandering around.

What, Chatham Dockyard? That's open to the public, a bit pricey though.
Or the midwives home in series 1 & 2? That's being redeveloped at the
moment, they had to switch to studio sets for series 3.
