If you read my thread below ("Big Problem!"), you notice how I was freaking\nout because VUE signed me up for 220-231 and 232 (2003 A+ Core and OS). I\nwas freaking out because I could not reschedule since my test was the next\nday of my sign up and I only found out that night and the offices were\nclosed for me to do any rescheduling.\n\nThe day started with me arriving at the test site 15 minutes prior to the\ntime (as instructed), but the office did not open until 30 minutes AFTER my\ntest was scheduled.\n\nI sat down and looked at the screen and it was indeed the new test (2003\nobjective for A+ Core and OS numbered 220-231 and 220-232).\n\nThe test had pretty much the same questions as the 2001 exams except the\nHardware one had more SCSI and USB questions while the OS had more Windows\nXP questions. I finished each exam in 30 minutes each. There were 80\nquestions and I had 90 minutes to complete the exam. The passing score was\n467 for both exams and I received an 860 on Core and 900 on OS.\n\nFor the core, there were many questions on laser printers, IRQ and addresses\nso make sure to memorize those before you take this exam.\n\nThe OS was very easy and they asked alot of questions on difference between\nFAT16, FAT32 and NTFS. Most of the questions; however, were just "how to get\nto properties" type of questions so if you have used Windows in your daily\nbusiness, then you should not have any problems with them.\n\nSo yeah, I took both 2003 exams today and I passed!
