First, check with your IP manual to see how your email accounts are supposed
to be entered. Then go to Tools - Email accounts and make sure that all six
entries are correct....including the wording for pop server
(for example, mine is pop-server.(providers name). If the dash is left out,
it gives an error....and make sure the password is correct.

Also, make sure that your email addresses and passwords are registered with
your provider (you need your master email address and master password for
    this).

Come back if you still have a problem.

  4. That will happen if you get the name of the server wrong (your anti virus
program can screw that up if it is set to scan email), or if you can't get
through to the Internet (your firewall program can screw that up if the
permissions are scrambled after a system crash). Because you haven't given
much to go on, it will be very hard to say what is the cause.
