I have commited a major mistake. In an attempt to remove
malware/spyware from a laptop running XP, i used the HijacThis utility
program. I accidently earased non-malicious files and now my Internet
    Exoplorer does not run correctly.

The only up side is that HijackThis has backedup what i earased and
    placed it on my desktop.

What do i do? What directory do i replace all those file to?

    Help Help . . . .any/all advice is appreciated

    thanks in advance

Open HijackThis and press 'Config' then 'Backups'.
Highlight which backups you erased and press 'Restore'.

Once you have done that successfully, run HijackThis
again, and post the contents of your log here, if you
want help deciding what to delete and what not to.
