Modem is installed OK with drivers from Toshiba's website but I get a
constant "Acquiring Network Address" on the connection and I can't
    connect to anything.

Also: I can't start DHCP client in services.msc Error 1068, The
Dependency Group Failed to start and I can't do control-Network
    Connections.

Should the cable modem connection use DHCP? I don't use it in dialup.

If you can connect is using the Ethernet Cable. I have the same modem and if
I try using the USB cable...no matter how much I try...it wont pick up an IP
address. The only way I can connect is by Ethernet. Let me know what
    happens.
