    Hi Guys

I've just put my 3 months old Minolta F300 (5m pixel) in for repair as there
are Stuck / Dead pixels right inthe centre of the image - 16 of them to be
    precise.

Have you had any problems with pixel failures on the CCD, and in particular
have you had a problem with Minolta?

I'm very interested in your experience, as I'm expecting Minolta to come
back to me and say "sorry, that's life!"

    Thanks
    Kenny

Do they show up in normal exposures or under longer exposures in, say low
    lighting conditions?

The Stuck/Dead pixels show up in all exposures, but particularly against
dark backgrounds. It appears to be 16 pixels (4x4) that look near white.
