I have a Micro ATX MS-6367 motherboard with 1300 AMD Duron processor
and I am experiencing problems with the cmos. When I first put the
system together I could not get the boot up screen to come up. The fan
and HDD and power lights would come on but no boot up screen. But then
I changed the cmos jumper to clear(pin 2,3)and I started the system
and it booted up but it was acting like the cmos battery was dead. So
I removed the jumper altogether and it does the same thing. It acts
like the cmos battery is dead. I took the battery out to test and it
tests good at 3v. It will not boot with the jumper on pins 1,2. I
can't figure out what is wrong. Please help ASAP.

    Try in:

If you stared the computer with the jumper set in the clear position it may
have damaged the motherboard - it says this in the manual.
