Summary: HEC, also known as Compucase, has a series of high-quality power supplies without active PFC, promising to deliver a high power at a low-end cost. We completely disassembled one of their models, WinPower 480 W. Does it live up to expectations? Read on.

Here is a snippet: "HEC (a.k.a. Compucase) is a traditional OEM manufacturer, meaning that their core business is to manufacture power supplies (and cases) to other companies.
