Google Searches Take FOREVER ..like something is taking over !!

    I have been using Google for years. Just recently got a new Dell
    (latest and greatest). Running Windows XP. Using Roadrunner ....

    My searches using Google are taking up to 45 seconds to 1 minute. NO
    OTHER search engine hesitates like Google does. YET The results from
    Google are saying the search took only .8 seconds! Why????

    It seems like my search is getting hung up ...BUT only on Google.
    Wisenut and other engines work fine. Is this Spyware ...how can I get
    Google back to searching fast?????

    My son's PC (same brand) is not hesitating on the Google searches.

    OK, this does sound like spyware. Maybe you should read this article on
    Spyware, it has links at the bottom for some really good free programs to
    help you with your problem. Be sure to update the programs before you do
    your scan. I use AdAware and Spybot.
