Well I own a 17-40 and have tested the 16-35 II and I will be sticking
with the 17-40 thanks. I guess there are three possibilities here...

1: It's a second had lens (as stated) and it has been flogged, dropped
    or knocked.
2: It's a dud copy (possible with any lens from any manufacturer)
    3: You botched the shot.

"One bad apple, don't....." you know the words so sing along with me
    now! ;-)

Very nicely done - a pussy shot that stands out from the
rest. How long were you sitting waiting for it to yawn so
you could snap at just the right moment?
As for Rita's effort... just another snapshot of a furry pussy.

So I guess we shouldn't talk about lenses or equipment then?
OK, in that case .... D-Mac is a fag.

    Feel better now?

  8. I'll stick with it being a bad lens. For what I paid for it there's no
loss. Somebody will buy it and be happy with it.

What's to debate? It's well known that those who are concerned about the
sexuality of others are only doing so because of doubts about their own sexual
orientation. If they are secure in their own sexuality then they don't care one
bit about the sexual orientation of others. A hetero man who is secure in his
own sexuality has no problems showing affection to a gay man, because he knows
it's not going to affect him in any way. He is free to express himself to anyone
of any orientation knowing full-well that it will never change him. The converse
is not true for the "hetero" man who has doubts about his own sexuality. Then
he's afraid of others' sexual orientations, of anything that might challenge or
    reveal his own wavering sexuality.

Debate ended. Annika outted himself. People like him do it often, without even
    realizing it.

    Doug,

Took me all of three seconds to realise this was you.

I wouldn't doubt it. Annika has already told everyone how he throws huge chunks
of ice at small hummingbirds for fun when he's bored, just to see if they're
fast enough to get out of the way.

    The guy's a total loser.

Or are you talking about one of the other total losers that post their photos
    here?

  17. You mean unlike the cowardly nym-shifters who don't have any photos to
post, or are afraid to? And where is "here" nimrod- not that it's
possible you're a "loser", too: This is posted to three groups.
