Banks and such do object when they get packets from different IPs in the same session.[/QUOTE] IIRC long ago on ADSL lines Andrews and Arnold could set things up to do "real" balancing by allowing you to send the same IP address up either link and doing the same downstream. I guess you needed their firebrick to do it and it's still not "really real" as is multilink ppp or the link level bonding that DSL was in theory capable of. I don't know if it works with FTTC, ISTR them temporarily having issues with BTW filtering addresses and messing it up. Perhaps with OR and BTW involved it's even harder.
