Frustrated gggggggggrrrrrrrrrr

    I hope you can help. I am trying to find out how to turn video files to VOB files so they'll play in my dvd player.Sony tells me that thats what the files have to be in order for their player to play them. The files are movies and music videos that I would like to watch on my TV. They play fine on the puter. I believe these files are avi and xvid type.
    I really don't get this, so please keep your replies in VERY simple terms. I have dvd santa, cyberlink power2go and all conversion aimersoft program.
