The Overclocker Cafe' has posted up a roundup of the Intel Dual Core mainboard offerings from Foxconn. The roundup includes the i945 based Foxconn 945G7MA and 945P7AA, one of which is Micro ATX form factor. The third board in the round up is Foxconn's flagship product, the Foxconn 955X7AA which offers all that you would expect with a flagship product... everything! Here's a snip from their review of these boards.

The top graph represents Far Cry running with the DivX Converter pumping out that DVD, while the bottom graph shows us Far Cry going by itself. As you can see, the dual core CPU does make a difference. The Asus motherboard took a massive hit in frame rates, as did the Foxconn 955X7AA while using the single core CPU. However, the 955X7AA, when couple with Intel's dual core chip, chugged right along barely noticing the extra load going on. Very cool!

If this is something you feel your readers may enjoy, a news posting would be most welcomed as it always is. Thanks!
