    Just installed FF along ie6.
    But Firefox keeps telling me that windows media player is not installed.

    I try to use
    www.tmf.nl
    and there to music / videoclips / and than one of the clips...
    at that moment in the lefthand pane it says that i do not have wmp
    installed. It IS installed and working with other applications.

    My system is winxp home with all updates.
    Firefox is also the latest version 106

    Can't find the solution... any ideas?

    thx,
    Hans

    I already tried what doug g (28/7/2005) said:
    "try copying the npdsplay.dll file into Firefox's plugins folder".

    I use the suite so it may be different but you could have a look in;
    Edit>Preferences>Navigator>Helper Applications.
    Where you may find a clue as to how to fix this problem.
