    Hi all,

I've had this problem in almost every Firefox release (I'm now on 1.0.4).
When I open a firefox session, the first time I click on the pull down
button of the address bar, it opens the list very briefly and then
closes again. Only the second time I click on it will it open normally.
I have the same problem with the Bookmarks menu; only the second time it
    opens.
When I close firefox and start it up again the problem returns.
    Any ideas what's wrong here?
    Thanks,

    :)

A theme or extension you installed may be the culprit.

See if the problem exists when Firefox is started in Safe Mode. Look
for the Mozilla Firefox (Safe Mode) shortcut on Windows' Start menu.

    Hi Smiley,

I have the same problem ... and it happens in safe mode too.

    FF 1.0.4 / XP Pro SP2

I've learned to live with it :)

    Thanks all for the replies.

I've learned to live with it too Steve, but I hoped there was an easy
fix for it. I also have FF 1.0.4 / XP Pro SP2 and it happens in safe
    mode too.
    Oh well...

    :)
