Firefox 1.0 - open in new window

    I queried about this in netscape.public.mozilla.browser but so far haven't
    had any replies.
    I have a web page that I like to keep minimized for quick reference. Every
    time I opened another page from a link, it would bring that link up as a
    second tab in the same browser window. So I changed my preferences to "open
    in a new window". Now the links DO come up in a new browser window but my
    minimized page is also coming up behind it. What can I do to keep the
    minimized window minimized?
