Fax program and a DSL-504G ADSL Router

    Clearly, the fax program fails to work as it cannot detect a dial tone to
    start with.

    The Fax program is Symantec WinFax Pro 10.0.

    Help. What steps do I need to take to get this fax program up and running
    again - please.

    You'll need an ordinary modem attached to the PC and the phone line to
    send or receive faxes - it cannot be done via the ADSL router.
