My Epson 2200 has been printing beautifully color balanced photos
until suddenly it started printing with a heavy lavender cast. I
tried uninstalling and re-installing the printer drivers with the disc
that came with the printer. None of the 8 ink cartedges have a low
ink indicator light. Is it possible that some of the nozzles are
clogged? How do Iclean them or resolve this problem? ANy suggestions
    welcome. Thanks a lot.

It's simple to check for this, just go to the Utilities tab and click "nozzle
    check" to print the pattern.
If there's a clog run the 'clean' cycle.
