eMule: Send message... Can't type anything.

    Does anybody know how to send a message in eMule to someone who is
    downloading? When I select "Send Message", window opens, but keyboard input
    does not respond. Copy and paste doesn't work either...
    I have no problem when sending a message in WinMX for instance.
