Embedded graphic files in T-bird 1.0 don't display

    I recently changed over to Thunderbird from OE and like it very much.
    However, I am used to being able to insert .jpg and .gif images directly
    inline in emails and see them in my "Sent" folder (and the recipient can
    see them as well). Now, when I do an "insert image" in T-bird, I see
    the image in my email until I hit "Send". In my "Sent" box the images
    do not show up, and if I send such an email to myself, they also do not
    show up on the incoming side. If I add "alternate text" when inserting
    the image, I see the alternate text.

    I don't get it. I have "Block loading of Remote Images" in the Advanced
    Options unchecked so that html emails render correctly. If I attach an
    image, then I can see it, but not when it is inline. Is there any way
    to change this behavior?

    Thank you!
    Emily

    Try
    View-->Message Body as-->Original HTML
