"It's hard to gauge how much input Robin Harris had in this film. He
created the characters of Bebe's kids in his standup routine, and his
riffs on the exploits of LaShawn, Kahlil, and Pee-Wee were hilarious.
What works in standup doesn't necessarily work in a narrative film,
though. Remember Chris Rock's cell phone rant in Lethal Weapon 4?"

"Bruce Lee fans who caught Circle of Iron at the local drive-in
expecting a night of chop-socky fun would have been distinctly
disappointed with this film, which requires an open mind and a

"If the gags worked, it would matter that Club Dread isn't scary. If

Remember how Beverly Hills Cop 3 couldn't decide whether it wanted to

for this crap."
