Today, DVD Verdict posted reviews of AMERICAN PSYCHO: UNCUT KILLER
COLLECTOR'S EDITION, THE CAROL BURNETT SHOW: LET'S BUMP UP THE LIGHTS,
HUSTLE, KINSEY (THE AMERICAN EXPERIENCE), LIFEGUARD, and MISS
    CONGENIALITY 2: ARMED AND FABULOUS:

AMERICAN PSYCHO: UNCUT KILLER COLLECTOR'S EDITION (reviewed by Brett
    Cullum, overall score 96/100):
"Harron is purposefully paying homage to one of her heroes, Luis Bunuel
(Belle De Jour). She refuses to make things easy or obvious at any turn,
and the film is richer for it by not ever giving simple answers or
playing by the rules of popular cinema. It is not content to be just a
horror movie, or just a comedy of manners and bizarre cuisine gone
crazy. It is everything, wrapped up in a malicious bow."

THE CAROL BURNETT SHOW: LET'S BUMP UP THE LIGHTS (reviewed by Eric
    Profancik, overall score 83/100):
"This show brings back all the principal players, sits them onstage, and
allows them to reminisce about those famous Q&A sessions. Coming in
at a lean 42 minutes, the special allows us to watch as a new batch of
audience members ask questions, which propels the cast to relate tales
    about the old Q&A sessions."

HUSTLE (reviewed by Mitchell Hattaway, overall score 55/100):
"There's no point in trying to make sense of all of this, and that
includes what's apparently supposed to be a shocking, ironic ending, but
which is actually neither. You can see it coming from miles away, and
the fact that we don't have anything invested in the characters negates
    its impact."

KINSEY (THE AMERICAN EXPERIENCE) (reviewed by Mike Pinsky, overall
    score 91/100):
"Alfred Kinsey himself was a colorful figure. He was aggressive and
unrelenting, even experimenting on his own circle of friends to expand
his understanding of sexual practices. Kinsey was a cause celebre, and
he liked it that way. Fortunately, Kinsey succeeds in capturing both
sides of this curious character -- the scientist and the man."

LIFEGUARD (reviewed by Brett Cullum, overall score 84/100):
"If you're in the mood for a light beach drama about a lovable loser
then Lifeguard fits the bill. The DVD won't set you back much, but it
    has nothing but the movie."

MISS CONGENIALITY 2: ARMED AND FABULOUS (reviewed by Ryan Keefer,
    overall score 70/100):
"The box office success of Miss Congeniality and similar films that big
studios have produced has resulted in problems for the average
moviegoer. First and foremost, just how plausible can a sequel be? How
many people are clamoring for it? Honestly, sequels only should be left
to comic book genre films and Peter Jackson."
