DVD cases, getting better or worse?

  1. For a while it looked like studios were dropping the snapper left and
    right, but instead of keep-cases we see a lot of these fold-out
    cardboard dealies, the non-snapping paper case. I hate these, these
    won't last twenty years even if I do treat them right. Some of my
    earliest discs came in these fold-out style cases and already they are
    starting to fray at the edges. This is particularly bad in sets with
    more than two discs. I just hope Criterion doesn't go down this path too.
